During Be Camp, we invite you to take a deep breath, look inward, and find what feels right—what feels like you. Think of it as an opportunity to disconnect from the world, technology, your family and work, in order to reconnect with yourself.
You won’t sleep in a teepee. No trust falls. And, absolutely no touchy-feely platitudes that leave you feeling like you’ve got a chocolate cake hangover. You’re busy. You don’t have time for BS. We get it.
Instead, you’ll spend time in self-reflection, learning, and trying new things. You’ll kick off simple shifts in brain, body, and behavior as we explore self-renewal and self-care. You’ll have some time to relax and even take a nature walk.
Retreat to the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, IL. Nestled within 88 woodland acres, you’ll find serenity indoors and out in this quiet city sanctuary.
Step out of the hustle and into a serene natural space that’s perfect for you to unwind. Treat your mind, body and soul in the lodge spa, fitness center or indoor lap pool. Take a winter wander through the woods or spend a few moments in quiet reflection next to a warm fire. It’s all here for us at camp.
Be Camp Experience
Before Be Camp: You’ll get a packing list, camp guidelines, and a fun activity to do on the way to camp.
At Be Camp: You’ll spend time in self-reflection; gain new perspective; learn how to make little (or big) changes to improve your wellbeing; create fun keepsakes; increase your energy; make meaningful connections; envision your future; and laugh.
You’ll leave Be Camp: Changed. With a new mindset and vision for what’s possible for you in your life.
After Be Camp: You’ll get 90 days of support through weekly email challenges that supplement the Be Camp experience. If you need accountability to make the changes stick, we’ve got you covered with quarterly virtual get-togethers. A private Facebook group and a Be Box gift round out the experience.

Meet the Facilitators
Founder of Be Camp
For the past ten years, Kyra has helped leaders and professionals boldly rethink work and their relationship with work. In 2007, Kyra founded Life Meets Work, a workforce consulting business serving Fortune 1000 companies. The business grew into a multi-million dollar organization before Kyra sold it to a strategic competitor in 2018. She’s since launched 15Be, a learning experiences company dedicated to improving the wellbeing of people, teams and organizations. The principles she teaches at Be Camp derive from science, spiritual traditions, and her experience training leaders and high-potential talent at non-profit organizations and companies like Allianz, KPMG and Kohler.
A former CPA and a former stay-at-home dad, Paul finds his purpose in helping people connect to themselves and their motivations. He takes a values-based approach to coaching, integrating personal and professional goals, leadership, and personal effectiveness. While Paul does accept individual coaching relationships, most of his practice is dedicated to high potential talent in corporate engagements. He holds numerous coaching qualifications including a PCC with the International Coach Federation and is a Certified Daring Way facilitator based on the work of Brené Brown.
