Maybe that feels scary or just too aspirational for real life. It's not.
You don’t have to quit your job, travel across the world, or start a non-profit. You just need to ask yourself, “What’s important to me?”
It’s easy to get sidelined. We prioritize other people’s demands and expectations. We give in to distractions. And we fall back on habits rather than living with intention.
Your life might be out of alignment if:
Your to-do list is full of things that keep you busy, but sap your energy
You find yourself setting (and ignoring) the same goals month after month
You have a constant case of after-itis, also known as: I’ll be able to do that after I [insert giant life responsibility here]
You can’t see your way past ‘I can’t’ and 'I have to’
You’re surviving, not thriving

I suggest doing a values discovery exercise every year.
Why? Because our values can move over time. But we don’t always shift our actions accordingly.
When you get intentional about making choices that align with your CURRENT values, you regain a sense of spirit. You get NEW ENERGY and the world feels WHOLE again.
